A2. OverSold Stocks
Stocks that are OVERSOLD may occasionally staged Sudden Bear Rebound or "dead cat bounce" if it "fell too much too fast", followed by consolidation as earlier short traders started to lock in their gains. Further downside or weaker prices may be driven by Negative News or Poor Weak Fundamentals unless its BEAR Trend terminated or selling get exhausted.

... or it may go into consolidation mode after Profit Taking or fell back lower if there is no good positive catalysts to support its price ascend
... the Stronger stocks may resume its Upside Biases if driven by Fresh Positive News or Strong Fundamentals
... stocks in bullish moods or trend generally may attempt higher price ascend or target when supported by Strong & Good Fundamentals ELSE any upside biases may not be Sustainable
B2. Overbought stocks
Stocks that are OVERBOUGHT may occasionally faced Sudden Profit-Taking or "Correction" if it "rallied too much too fast", followed by consolidation as earlier traders started to lock in their gains. Further upside or higher prices need to be driven by Positive News or Strong Good Fundamentals or its upside ascends can be short lived or are Not Sustainable.
NB: BEWARE of DEAD CAT BOUNCE where stocks with poor fundamentals staged Sudden Price Surges & died off as Suddenly as it had Risen on Bear Trap!
